Welcome to the College of Agriculture and life Sciences of Chonnam National University (CALS)
The field of Agriculture has come a long way from the basic industry of farming and food production to the Sixth Industry—one of the highest value-added industry which can be applied to Life Science, Environmental Science, Bioenergy, Climate Smart Agriculture.
The College of Agriculture and Life Sciences of Chonnam National University (CALS) has contributed a great deal in developing the technology of agriculture and life sciences as well as in cultivating human resources of the field in Korea since it started as Gwangju Agriculture School in 1909.
